Finalists! The British Independent Garage of the Year Awards 2022

This sparkling industry event is to be held on Friday 19th August 2022 and is set to be a fun-filled evening of recognition and celebration of the outstanding achievements within the Great British Independent Garage Sector.

The award-winning Independent Garage Association is the largest and most prominent representative body in the Independent garage sector.

The IGA helps independent garages to thrive in all aspects of their business by offering advice, information and services which ensure that the independent service and repair sector can remain efficient and competitive in an increasingly complex business landscape.

The selection process was completed from all national associated members of the IGA. The initial selection process was hand-picked to just 20 businesses operating within the UK.

An audit process was completed on the 20, and based on both digital and media presence of these 20. The finalists were visited by an independent auditor who completed a site visit, inspection, Q+A and due diligence process.

The finalists were once again hand selected based on the feedback from the audit process.

BTE have been placed in the 'Large Independent Category', although our size in comparison to the other selected finalists is stark in comparison. BTE operate just two separate sites, but are soon to expand to an interlining multi-site including 6 new vehicle bays adapting an innovative Electric Vehicle Specific bay.

BTE Automotive were announced as CASTROL's 'GOLD' garage award winners in 2020, which saw them collect four national awards.

• A source of help and advice on customer or employee problems, legal issues, compliance, business consultancy, trading standards.

The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI) has provided BTE with industry specific support since 1988 and continues to assist the development of the company as we transition our business model to adapt to the increase (and inevitable) growth of an electric automotive revolution.
